Kalynne Pudner

Kalynne Pudner earned her B.A. in Philosophy and Political Science from Marquette University and her M.A. and Ph.D. from the University of Virginia. She specializes in ethical theory, applied ethics and jurisprudence, which she teaches at Auburn University in Alabama. Her current research on the ethical implications of electronic communication has produced several papers, a novel, and what she hopes to be a not-too-distantly forthcoming book entitled Disembodied Ethics. Other areas of interest include political philosophy, philosophy of education, feminist philosophy and the interface between philosophy and literature. Her primary distinction consists in having nine children, about whom she writes for Philosophy Now and in her blog: phdwithninekids.blogspot.com.
